Shining Bright with House of Shine 🌟 Reflections from a Night I’ll Never Forget

Earlier this year, I had the absolute honor of being recognized as one of DFW’s 7 Women Who Shine at the House of Shine’s annual fundraiser – Peace. Love. Shine – and I’m still feeling all the feels. To be invited to share my voice on stage, to reflect on my journey and impact, and to be surrounded by a room full of purpose-driven, passionate people… it was nothing short of magical. I absolutely love that they make this such a fun Galentine’s event for all of us to grab our girls and spend a fun night together for a great cause.
House of Shine’s mission — to help people discover who they are and why their contribution to the world matters — hits home in a big way. As a mom, a business owner, and a woman who wears a lot of hats, I think about legacy often. I think about the example I’m setting for my kids, and the values I’m pouring into my work. Being asked to speak on how my contribution might look twenty years from now gave me space to reflect — and recommit to this path with even more intention.
It was especially meaningful to speak first and foremost as a mother. I asked all the moms in the room to cheer (and yes, they delivered 🙌), because we all know that motherhood is a calling unlike any other. The hard, quiet, often invisible work we’re doing today will echo in the future adults we’re raising. That’s a contribution that truly multiplies.
On the professional side, I shared about brush365 — a company I started to bring dentistry with integrity to more people, more communities. Right now, we’re still planting seeds. But give us twenty years? I see brush365 scaled across the world, known not just for beautiful smiles, but for the values we stand on. Integrity. Joy. Ownership. That’s the kind of company I’m building — and nights like this one remind me why.
One of the most special parts of the evening was getting to connect with new friends who feel like old souls. There’s something powerful about being in a space that brings together people who care deeply about making the world better in their own unique way. The conversations, the hugs, the shared dreams — I left feeling full.
And because I believe that impact should be fun too, I was so excited to donate a “Teeth Whitening Party” at brush365 as part of the event’s silent auction! A group of friends came by brush365 Allen for a day of pampering complete with professional makeup applications, a photoshoot, and of course… teeth whitening!Â

Huge thank you to House of Shine for this beautiful evening, for the work you’re doing, and for seeing me. I’m honored to be a part of your story — and I can’t wait to see how our paths keep shining forward together.
