There may be more check-ins, longer timelines, attachments, elastics, refinements, or more specific instructions around wear time. None of that automatically means treatment is going poorly. In many cases, it means the movement is being managed carefully.

Clear aligners may look simple, but the biology is still orthodontics. Teeth move through bone. Bites change. Muscles adapt. The plan has to respect that.
